ACCREDIA accreditation scope expanded for dioxins, furans and mercury analyses
Tentamus Agriparadigma, a laboratory of the Tentamus Italia Group, has expanded its ACCREDIA accreditation scope by adding new accredited tests that strengthen its analytical services for the food and environmental sectors.
This extension represents another important step in the laboratory's continuous development, with the aim of providing customers with increasingly comprehensive, reliable analyses that comply with the highest quality standards.
New accredited method for the determination of dioxins and furans (PCDD/F)
Among the newly accredited tests is an in-house method for the determination of dioxins and furans (PCDD/F) using GC-MS/MS (Gas Chromatography–Tandem Mass Spectrometry).
The method is applicable to:
- high-fat foods;
- low-fat foods;
- animal feed.
The method has been validated to meet the performance criteria for confirmatory methods laid down in Commission Regulation (EU) 2017/644, over a concentration range of 0.1–10 pg TEQ/g.
This accreditation broadens the laboratory's capabilities for the determination of contaminants that are particularly relevant to food safety and regulatory compliance.
Extended accreditation for the determination of mercury in water
The laboratory has also obtained an extension of the accreditation of UNI EN ISO 17294-2:2023 for the determination of mercury using ICP-MS (Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry).
The accredited scope covers analyses of:
- drinking water;
- groundwater;
- surface water.
This extension further enhances the laboratory's accredited services for water quality monitoring.
An even more comprehensive service for companies and stakeholders
The expansion of the accreditation scope confirms our laboratories' commitment to providing companies, public authorities and professionals with reliable analytical services, supported by specialist expertise and advanced analytical technologies.
