Accreditations &
Official Recognitions
Tentamus Agriparadigma is an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory ensuring quality, competence, and reliability.
Since 1993, quality has been at the heart of our mission. We adopted a certified quality management system, achieving today around 300 accredited tests under UNI CEI EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018, the reference standard for testing and calibration laboratories.
Since 14 November 2018, our laboratory has been officially accredited as a multi-site organization, consolidating our nationwide presence with accredited operational sites in Emilia-Romagna, Sicily, Tuscany, and Umbria.
What does it mean to be an accredited laboratory?
The primary purpose of accreditation is to provide independent, third-party recognition of a laboratory's competence, independence, and impartiality with respect to the accredited tests it performs.
Accreditation demonstrates that the laboratory meets both the technical requirements and the management system requirements necessary to produce accurate, reliable, and technically valid results for specific testing activities. Tentamus Agriparadigma Laboratory is accredited by the Italian accreditation body ACCREDIA in accordance with the requirements of UNI CEI EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018, Accreditation No. 00061 Testing, and has maintained continuous accreditation since 1993.
The granting of accreditation is formalized through a specific agreement entered into between ACCREDIA and the Laboratory. By signing this Agreement, ACCREDIA confirms, following the successful completion of the assessment activities, the granting and validity period of the accreditation as specified in the Accreditation Certificate and its related annexes.
Use of the ACCREDIA mark
ACCREDIA document RG-09, “Regulation for the use of the ACCREDIA mark”, contains several provisions concerning the clients of accredited laboratories.
In particular, the following points should be noted:
- 6.4.5 Accredited bodies are required to report to ACCREDIA any improper use or misuse of the accreditation mark or logo of which they become aware.
- 6.5.2.5 The ACCREDIA Mark and any reference to accreditation must not be affixed to a test sample or product, or any part thereof, nor used to imply product certification.
- 6.5.2.11 The ACCREDIA Mark or any reference to accreditation must not be used by the clients of accredited laboratories, nor may it be used in documentation concerning a product or displayed on a product. It is permitted to attach a copy of the test report. The Laboratory must properly inform its clients of the reasons for this limitation and monitor its application.
- 6.5.2.12 Clients of accredited laboratories that carry out commercial activities related to accredited services, such as consulting companies or intermediaries, and issue test reports containing results provided by accredited laboratories, may not use the ACCREDIA Mark or refer to the accreditation of the laboratory that performed the tests. In offers for accredited services, they may not use the ACCREDIA mark in any way, but they may cite the accreditation reference by indicating the accreditation number and the company name of the Laboratory holding the accreditation.
- 10.2 The ACCREDIA logo, as well as the IAF and ILAC marks, are protected by law and therefore any intentional or fraudulent use by accredited bodies and/or their Clients, where applicable, will be prosecuted in accordance with the law.
